Material comparison: Cr12MoV mold steel vs. tungsten steel mold
Wear resistance: Tungsten steel has super hardness and excellent wear resistance. Its hardness reaches HRC85 or above, which is much higher than Cr12MoV's HRC58-62. It can remain stable in high-intensity and long-term use environments. This means that the mold of the weld leveling machine is more wear-resistant and less prone to wear during use.
Durability: Cr12MoV mold steel has good toughness and was widely used in cold working molds in the past. However, in the high friction and high impact conditions of weld leveling, its service life is relatively limited and it is prone to wear and deformation.
